Nearest beach Tebarwith Strand 12 minutes walk down across fields.

Great surfing; excellent swimming; a huge, spotlessly clean beach at low tide, overlooked by towering cliffs, inaccessible when high tide reaches up to the tiny quayside of the village.   

Nearest town is Tintagel, 1.5 miles' drive from Treknow, closer on foot or by bike along tracks and rights of way.

Boscastle is 5 miles north.  Always beautiful, even under pressure from tourists in Summer.

Port Isaac is six miles south.  Charming little fishing town, heaving with summer  visitors but worth going for dressed crab and other locally caught delicacies.

Two great local pubs, often live music at weekends + excellent food, all family friendly.
